(September 12 2007) - WELCOME REGGIE! - That's right boys and girls. Adrastos has taken on the first new member since its founding two years ago. Let's all give a big welcome to Reggie Bates, the new bassist for Adrastos. Reggie's enthusiasm and intensity will be a major driving force in this band, and we hope you're all half as excited about this as we are.
On the rhythm guitar front, we've auditioned some pretty rad dudes. We have more auditions to come, but expect to be making a decision shortly we hope. Until then, keep an eye out for more material as we push forward and evolve in our little basement dwelling. We're writing and practicing and getting Reggie up to speed as much as we can so that we can see you guys from the viewpoint of the stage SOON! Thanks for your continued patience, we can't wait for what's ahead.

(July 03 2007) - Welcome back to Earth... - So after a considerable amount of time spent sequestered in a rehearsal space over the past year or so, Adrastos is back. Well sort of... though we have carried out numerous auditions, we have still yet to find the perfect addition to our little outfit. We did however move from one dark basement room to another last weekend to begin recording a three track demo that we hope will give you all an idea of where we're heading once we get our heads straight again. It's been a hard year so far living completely under the radar, but we hope it will pay off. We have written and played more this past year than we ever have, and our persistent nature will hopefully be the key ingredient to making the second half of 2007 memorable and productive. We look foward to sharing our latest efforts with you in late July. Until then, keep checking back for updates! We are sure to have announcements regarding various aspects of the band in the coming weeks and months. Thank you so much for just taking the time in your day to get this far in this post, and for your continued support and patience while we take our time in making this band what we all want it to be. (June 22 2006) - The Free-P - Ahoy there! That's what nick would say because he's been working on a boat in the bronx this past week.
Anyway, yesterday the gang (plus the infamous shane hennessey) went to RAW Recordings to record our new 3 song EP, affectionately titled The Free-P. Why is it called the Free-P, you ask? Because it's free! Which means you don't have to pay for it!
Once it's been mastered, we will have some tracks available for download as well as free burned copies at shows and with ANY order made through our store. So make orders!
We'll announce it's release soon. It's got 3 tracks on it and we haven't named any of them, so sit tight and you'll hear it soon.

(April 26 2006) - Updates, Updates, Upyours - Alright kids, we've got a lot to talk about, so come sit down with papa.
First off, we've decided we're gunna do a ton of rewriting. So that's fun and it's coming along nicely.
On that note, we're planning on doing some demo-ing in late may / early june so stay tuned for that; it'll be all new, never heard before material.
Within the next few weeks we will be releasing our national tour dates for the summer. We'll be on the road from approximately July 7th to August 12th and we'll be in your town so stay tuned!
We'll be heading out with Eyeball Recordings Artist Signal To Noise, as well as Eyes and Hands and We're All Broken. They're all absolutely fabulous bands and we're going to have a blasty blast so make sure you check it out!
Also, our buddy ol' pal J-Ry$$ (aka www.justinryan.org) is designing all sorts of fab new merch for your tasting pleasure. So buy that shit when it comes out. Until then, buy the shit we have :)
The past few shows have been unreal and we've had some good times. Thanks to The Northwood, The Appreciation Post, Ericson, Signal The Escape and all the other bands that have made the past few months a ton of fun. We'll see you all soon!
Make sure you come to the show June 2nd in West Hartford CT with DAMIERA! They are amazing and that show is going to be so much fun.
